Breastfeeding as a natural way of immunisation

still being very upset 'bout the sudden flare up of eczema after the second lot of jabs given to Juleika I was thinking a lot into it!

as it still rings in my ears "breast is beast" for the benefitial of passing on antibodies to the baby, and me being still immune against all illnesses they immunise here for, due to a travel to India in Nov 2005, I am wondering if I do not pass those antibodies to her anyway

maybe this is even the reason in particular why her body overreacts to the jabs???

would appreciate your opinions about

I don't know quite what to tell you. I can tell you that in my family I have one niece with eczema (she was bottle fed) and my sister in law (she's 5) has eczema, and she was breastfeed.

Any immunities to diseases that you have cannot be passed though placenta or breast milk. Eczema is generally an allergic reaction that shows up on the skin and in it's worst cases is is caused by agents that cannot be eliminated from the environment.

why it is then said that antibodies are passed on through breastmilk?

regarding the eczma flare up, I found this:

http://www.immunisation.nhs.uk/Libra...ement_16_01_03

which seems to explain everything! now they should offer me either the vaccine without the substance or another alternative! otherwise I will sue them, as I was at the GP twice and three times in hospital because of her eczma flare up and nobody told me this!!!

What I meant is that the immunizations you received as a child and any foreign diseases that you have been immunized for as an adult will not be passed on to your child. Immunities to things like pneumonia, bronchitis, and other simple diseases. You should really read for yourself before I confuse you more.

This is a great place to start
lalecheleague.org

As far as immunizations go, that is a whole other debate. My opinion on immunizations is not very high. I do not vaccinate my children and they are just as healthy if not more healthy than other children their age, in my opinion. Immunizations are really something that you have to research and make a decision based on your findings and understandings of the information.

I found a lot of information and links to other websites on vaccineinfo.net

I have found in my studies and understandings to show that more harm than good has come from vaccinations. The different processes that they go through to manufacture the immunizations (rat brains, monkey kidneys, etc.) were rather disturbing as well. They put so many vaccinations into one shot now that you are vaccinating your child for up to 20 diseases, nearly erradicated diseases, at one time. These vaccinations weaken your childs immune system while it is developing antibodies to these diseases. Granted now your child is immune to polio and diptheria, but these are also diseases that we are not exposed to any more. Also, the extra ingredients that they put in these vaccinations are not healthy for our children. They changed the mercury in the vaccinations to thermosal, which is a derivitive of mercury, so really they changed the name not the ingredient. Heavy metals are a huge factor in non-development of the brain in a child. I don't find it coincidence that since we started increasing the amount of immunizations that we give to our children we have also seen a rise in autism and childhood cancer. I really could go on and on and on. You can find so much information on diseases that have been linked to vaccinations. But, you will also find a lot of doctors who say that these findings are false. These doctors usually have a lot at stake though. Whether it be shareholdings in the vaccine manufacturers or just the fact that pediatricians collect most of their business from vaccinations that correspond with check ups.

Okay, I really should stop now. I have so many things rambling through my head when it comes to vaccines I get a little over excited about it. One more reason we chose not to vaccinate was because our second child was diagnosed with a genetic disease that made it danerous to catch even a cold. The specialists decided that the vaccinations were to risky for him, because they would deffinitely weaken his immune system and allow him to get sick.

I haven't vaccinated Kaya either, for many of the same reasons. I'm considering giving her the 5 in 1 once she starts taking solids, but I've not totally decided yet.
