Reducing dose of Colief

We're using Colief for Monty's colic. We think it's having a beneficial effect, but it could just be that Monty is growing up and his digestive system is maturing. He'll be 6wks tomorrow.

What point did you start to reduce the dose of Colief for your babies? Did you use fewer drops per dose? Or did you try giving Colief in alternate feeds rather than every feed? Or (and this is what ideally we'll do, as it will cause less disturbance at night) did you try giving Colief with all daytime feeds but none of the nighttime feeds?

Thoughts appreciated, thanks!
