| BF - bringing up milk? Over the past two weeks Sophie seems to be bringing up a lot more milk...sometimes it looks just like normal milk and other times its sicky stuff....is this normal or should i be concerned as she never used to bring anything up? | | | | Status: Offline

| For some reason, sick tends to increase during the first few months, but then reduces quite a lot by 6 months, and normally resolves by the year.
Is is projectile? Just milk or does it have bile/blood in it? Is it impacted by burping/bringing up wind? Can you lay her flat or does she need a slight incline? Are there any other sigsn of illness - is she well and happy within herself? Is she gaining weight well?
Most mothers have a laundry problem rather than a medical issue. | | | | Status: Offline

| I think that sounds pretty normal. Isabella did this for a while and we washed lots of clothing and cloths. She's all grown out of it now though. | | | | Status: Offline

| Toby sometimes brings up a bit of milk with his wind but never forcefully, more just "spit up' so it has never really worried me too much, i think it's pretty normal. | | | | Status: Offline

| Theakston seems to go through phases of this. Yesterday he did a perfect impression of the WI woman on Little Britain! He was stood facing me on my lap and just threw up bucket loads all over my chest. Not quite projectile but some force behind it, eurgh. I worry sometimes when it's epic but as long as he's happy in himself and has no fever I let him get on with it, I figure he's probably eaten too much at once or it's gone down the wrong way or he's got bad gas. | | | | Status: Offline

| Noah has once brought up sick with a little force but normally he brings back some milk, especially if he does a really really big manly burp. IYKWIM? He tends to get that when he's fed fast. | | | | Status: Offline
