not taking bottle or dummy

Noah used to take a dummy at 3 weeks... he had it occasionally when he was really hard to settle. He has also had a bottle of EBM about once or twice a week. Anyway, I did not give him a dummy for a bout two weeks, and he now flat out refuses to take one, he has also started to refuse to take a bottle... its as though both bottle and dummy go to far into the back of his mouth. Any suggestions...?

Thanks

If you find a magic answer, let me know - I have to go back to work in Jan and she's still refusing both!

I think it is a phase. Riley was the same, he took dummy and bottles up until he was about 3 months old, and wouldn't take either up until last week, but we managed to get him to take bottles occasionally now as we have a holiday coming and sometimes it will be more convenient to give him EBM. I bought a different shaped dummy today and he took it, i think because of teething the different shaped dummy helped. Good luck xxx
