Worried supply will suffer - 7 months old

I'm going to be attending 2 craft fairs this coming week which means I'll be away from Aisling for 2 feeds on the first day and 3 feeds the next - she only has 5 a day. The fairs are on a Friday and Saturday and I'm worried that by her not having this many feeds from me 2 days in a row, my supply might suffer. Any thoughts?

Can you pump whilst there? On breaks etc?

Not really, it's my stand so I'll be on it all day - don't think the punters be inclined to buy from the lady with her boob out!

Here's what I did once... don't laugh!

My let-down happens about 60 seconds after I put Bella on. So when I had to miss a feed once, I wore good breast pads then turned my back to people and discreetly did nipple stim for 1 minute. My let-down happened on both sides, and at least it somewhat encourages your breasts to keep producing!

How about you hand express alittle in the loos around her missed feeding times, I used to do this when Olivia would take a bottle and I was out without her xx

I'm honestly not sure I'll have the opportunity to express. Might see if I can do the nipple stimulation thing although I seem to have slow letdown so might be at it for a while!

i would just add a short pumping session when you get home. Baby will also cluster feed to make it go back up if need be.

Lu i've been doing some part time work-2 days a week- for about 2 months now and its had no impact on my supply at all. I usually work sat and wed but i have worked two consecutive days a few times and it made no difference. I expressed the first day of work but it felt a bit odd-just me- so haven't bothered since. Ellis still feeds quite happily during the day on the days that i'm with her. It can be a bit uncomfy at the end of the day but otherwise its not been a problem. I did ask at the bf group what they thought and they said it wouldn't/shouldn't impact either. Hope that helps

I am so glad to read this, I am returning to work for 2 full days and I was worried that this would affect my supply x
