Will she self wean?

Just wondering how breast feeding is likely to end?

We're getting on to 9 months and still going strong. She has a good feed first thing in the morning and still having 45 mins before bed (where she feeds to sleep..) Most days she doesn't have much more, though maybe a ten min feed if i want her to feed to sleep for a nap at home.

Does this sound like enough milk? Also is she likely to just start to show less interest in milk and wean herself off eventually? I'm just trying to work out how much longer to bf for. It's so part of our routine, helps to soothe her (which i'm guessing will help when teething starts...) plus she's always fed to sleep rather than self settle, so i'm wary of stopping feeding as i have no idea how i'll ever get her to bed at night!!

Also my neck and shoulders are really starting to hurt and am spending a fortune on the chiropractor as i tend to feed her lying down as she's so heavy now to feed upright. I keep flipping between thinking it's time to give up (oh to wear normal undies and dresses!!!) but then i wonder how we'd cope without my special working boobies!!

Just finding it hard to make a decision...

I think if it's in her routine and she likes when she does nurse she probably won't self wean right away. At her age Hayden was "addicted" to nursing, he nursed alot...but only 5min max at a time. I would say she's getting enough milk if she's satisfied. Hayden started cutting back more on feeds after a year old, at 15mo he finally night weaned...with my pushing lol...and then at 19mo he had dropped so much and just stopped asking It was like as he got more mobile and active he just didn't have time to sit and nurse, grabbing a sippy and taking it with him was a much better option to him
