Using colief with breast milk

We are BF and also trying to use Colief for our baby. To use this, we have to add the medicine to some expressed milk and then BF as usual. This is easier said than done cos when baby wakes for feed, he wants it then, not after I've faffed about expressing. Anybody who's BF and used colief got any good ideas? Also, not sure how we will deal with this once we start leaving house for more than an hour. Any suggestions?

I haven't used it but you can mix it with a teaspoon of milk instead, I think - could you mix it up and keep it in the fridge ahead of time, a few doses for the day?

I express a couple of ounces in the morning and then use that during the day, I pop a couple of ml in a medicine spoon pop it in the microwave for a couple of seconds, check the temp and once right add the drops, i find it doesn't take too long and i can normally tel when he is going to want a feed and get it ready in advance.

during the night I tend to latch him on while i get the drops ready, slip him off to have them ASAP then pop him back on.

when going out I take the bottle the spoon and a few ml of milk it keeps for a couple of hours at room temp so isn't a problem. luckily for me Sam will take it cold when out, I thing he has learned that drops mean food so is happy to take it however it comes.
