Nipple Shield

Has anyone ever used a nipple shield while breast feeding?

I went as far as buying them because feeding was so sore, but I always forgot about them before feeding lol

Just tried it for the first time. I'm only using in on one side, the very sore side. I had been favouring on side for feeding previously. I think I have finally found my solution to the soreness!1 hopefully I can continue to use it for a while.

I used one when my nipple was very sore and bleeding but they only recommend you use them for a really short time, though if you have a fast flow they are good for helping slow that down.

Yeah I used them in the early weeks when I was feeding my daughter. They really helped to give my nipples a rest and heal. I loaded on lansinoh to them as well which helped them heal.

Use whatever you need to get your through the pain , if your daughter is still feeding from one side naturally then you wont have the issue with her getting nipple confusion etc.
