Part-time breastfeeding?

I plan to breastfeed until 6 months but am just thinking ahead to then and wondering if at that point could I just breastfeed first thing in the morning and last feed at night? Or would only feeding twice a day mean the milk would pretty quickly dry up?

I have been feeding this way since DD was 7 months old. She gets two bottles of formula in the daytime and i boob her morning ans bedtime. It's working well for us.

This is what I intend on doing due to going back to work, although I have no experience and friend of mine did this and had no problems!

I have been only feeding morning and night for past few months. LO self weaned during the day, and only now is he starting to not take much at all My milk supply still seems plentiful enough though! Good luck!

i'm hoping to do this when i return to work monday.
we've been trying the occasional formula for over a month now to try get him used to it. he's been so fussy, refused every brand except for the last one we tried. then he refused a bottle unless its EBM. fortunately he will drink formula from a beaker.
