Some questions about expressed milk

I am hoping to introduce some bottles of expressed milk starting next week, when LO will be 5 weeks old. I have started expressing and freezing the milk. I usually get 2oz per day (I express once per day). My questions are...

Is 2oz a reasonable amount to get? I get the same amount using a manual pump or electric. I get it faster with the manual but the electric is less effort.

What bottle is best for combining bottle and breast? I have a tommee tippee closer to nature one that came with the pump, but am not sure if there are better ones out there (to reduce confusion etc)

When I introduce the first bottle, is there a particular time of day that would be best? I thought she might be upset if I took bedtime boobie away so was thinking of making the morning feed bottle?

Is it best if daddy gives her her first bottle so she doesn't smell my milk?

Thanks!!

hello, my little girl is 5 weeks this week and i express once a day and get 3oz.

I use the tommy tippee breast pump and bottles and ruby took the bottle fine.

My husband gives her the last bottle at night about 11pm.

xx

Hi there

I normally get maybe 300ml, depending on when I express (I get a LOT more in the morning). But your supply isn't really established yet, so I wouldn't be too concerned about how much you're expressing.

We use Breastflow bottles, and we really like them, very similar to the breast.

Dad gives Finlay his last feed of the day, which means I can go to bed nice and early

Finlay will take a bottle from me, but I don't think he's overly keen ... he smells me and thinks to himself "why should I take a bottle when there's a boob right there?!" so I don't give him a bottle very often.
