On LK Today..


.. They're talking to mums who are still breastfeeding their LOs over 2 years old. One of them is still breastfeeding their 4 and a half year old! Tbh, I'm amazed they can keep it going for so long, but I do find it really weird. The whole feature hasn't been on yet, but they keep mentioning it.

this makes me think of the "little britian" were they are sitting with another couple in a restaurant and have their adult son with them!

"but son we just had pudding"...

Yeah!!

I'm not really sure whether it's very natural to keep breast feeding for that long. Especially a 4 and a half year old. In a way it must be quite bad for the kid to be about to start school and still breastfeeding. I guess it's more that the mothers just can't let go.
