Um yeah I think I'm sticking to the cradle hold.

So I should have learned my lesson feeding him lying down! We tried it one time and I think because he's lying flat and on his side, the milk just doesn't go down and he spit up a lot. So I did it the other night and he was fine. Then I did it again last night and he was fine. This morning when he woke up I took him into our bed since daddy was still in bed. He ate well and then he slowed down so I was getting up to pick him up to burp him and he shot milk out of his nose and mouth like a TAP! And I'm always the one telling people "oh it looks like a lot more than it is" but this was seriously everything he just ate, short of maybe an ounce. Holy crap, that was more liquid than I've EVER seen come out of a baby ever!! Lol I should have learned my lesson. Wow does anyone else have this problem when feeding lying down??

Sorry but I had to chuckle then, Theakston is rarely sick, maybe once a week if that? But when he is it's absoloute bucket loads! He won't actually feed lying down anymore, he used to love it but now he looks at me like I'm mad and gets fussy so I don't bother. Sorry I can't be of any help.

Ellis has his first feed of the day lying down, they only problem we have is the wet patch where it all dribbles out when he's feeding (usually on OH's side of the bed) Sorry it hasn't worked out for you.
