For those using Breastflow bottles

I was wondering if you could tell me when you changed to the medium/fast flow teats? Grace is nearly 3 months and her evening bottle is taking AGES and she often falls asleep before it's finished, which defeats the object as she is then awake at silly o'clock! The outer teat is often mis-shapen when she's having a good suck, do you think is needs the faster flow teat?
Thanks in advance
Jen

I don't have an answer either but whenever Mailie has one the teat collapses too but faster teats make her choke!

4oz has gone down in about 15/20 mins tonight. But this is her sleepy feed, don't give her the bottle during the day.
The faster flow teats should arrive tomorrow so I see what happens.
Thanks for your replies.

Mailie sometimes has around 6-7oz in a bottle and that can take between 30-45 minutes to feed her, she takes forever lol so much quicker to feed her myself!!

I've just googled it and regarding the collapsing it depends what you mean, the outer teat collapses in our case not the inner one so think we're fine.

How will I know if the slow/medium flow is inappropriate?

As your baby grows she will suckle more vigorously to meet her needs and will take her feed faster. If the inner teat starts to collapse during a feed she most definitely needs the faster flow.
