Bras n Pumps advice please :)

Hey lovely ladies

I am not due for a wee while but starting to think about getting last bits together. I plan on exclusively breast feeding this baby (I tried with my 1st child 9 years ago but switched to half and half at 4 weeks and she was on formula from 8-9 weeks, 2nd baba 6 years ago managed 6 months and plenty of expressing).

I just can't remember when I was measured for my bras? I was bigger when I had my last baby so the ones I have won't be that good.

Also, I had a hand pump last time, and it was fine, I filled pouches and stashed em in the freezer etc. Are electric ones better/worse?? Is it a matter of taste? Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks

i think the pumps are a matter of taste, i know alot of people like the medela swing pump, but i didnt get on with it and prefered the avent manual pump. As for the bras im sure if you go now they could estimate how big you will get, but if you wanted completely acurate then wait till after. Igot measured in mothercare.

I'm a Medela Swing fan

As for the bras, I had a couple of nursing / pregnancy support tops which I slept in in late pregnancy and wore for the first few days after LO was here until I could get into Mothercare to be measured. It's obviously more accurate that way but just depends on how convenient the shops will be to you after LO arrives...

Good luck!

I have just bought a Medela swing as I have heard loads of people raving about it, not tried it yet!

I waited 4 weeks to get measured for a feeding bra so it is more accurate.

Tommee tippe manual, but I got sick of that pump (if you pump alot like I do) so I went for medela swing electric. BEST investment for the baby I got!!

Bras - Miriam Stoppard, 2 for £25 quid at debenhams they are really good.

Good luck xx
