Left breast aches...

My left breast has been aching since last night

I dont think I have a blocked duct as Olivia seems to feeding ok from it and I can feel no obstruction. It doesnt feel hot to touch and I dont have a rash.

I dont feel well in myself today, I feel really achy and just not right in general.

Not sure what it could be or if I am just having an off day, anyone else ever experienced anything like this??

xxxx

I was coming on to post something similar myself.... my right breast is really sore today, it really hurts to touch and just generally aches.
Joshua seems to be feeding fine from it, so I don't really know either.

If you dont feel well you need to keep an eye that you're not starting with mastitis.

Well I still feel pretty rough so I have an out of hours appointment for 8.45pm. The lady I spoke to seems to think it is mastitis and I will need anti biotics

Dr diagnosed mastitis but seems to think it has been caught early on so should clear up pretty quickly with the anti biotics.

So glad I got checked out as we are going caravaning tom afternoon so hopefully it wont spoil our time away xxx

Have a lovely time and try to rest while you are away. Make him set everything up and you and baby can have a gentle stroll round to check things out!

Where are you going?? We are caravanners too....

Dont worry lol he has been running around after me all day x

Just going to Skegness for a few days, its pretty local just to test the water as it will be the first time we have taken Olivia away. Hopefully after this we will be more confident to go further afield and for longer x

We went close to home the first time we went with LO. If you are going to a club site they have great mother and baby rooms. I never noticed them before. We were able to bath her and do her regular bedtime routine and she slept so well. She was about 15 weeks old I think and it was feb half term.

We've been each half term since and next time will be right the way down to Dorset for a fortnight!

But seriously you do have to take it steady with mastitis or it can get much worse.
