To stop...or not to stop...

My original goal for breastfeeding was 6 months. Well, we are now at 7 months and I am still at it. She isn't 100% on breastmilk as I couldn't keep up with her production-wise, so she gets 2-3 bottles of formula each day already. 1/2 of me wants to stop, so I can get back to my normal weight, and have the freedom of not having to pump at work...but I want my baby to have the benefits of breastmilk and of course I will miss the closeness...

What to do???

Aww honey

At the end of the day only you or London can decide when it's time to stop. Can you believe we made 6 months?? I mean I dont know about you but I'm so proud - I really never expected this at all. You can rest assured when you do stop you have given her a wonderful gift and I'm sure you'll treasure the special time you've had while BFing her.

If it's working then keep going but if you feel like you want to stop then go for it. I'm getting less with the weaning so we slowed down for that reason but I've decided that I'm going to keep a morning feed and bedtime feed when she's fully weaned and I'm about to go back to work.
