Cluster feeding?

I think maybe is what its called.
In the evenings Alex will have a feed and then want another full feed an hour after the previous one. Sometimes he will do this again at the next feed around the early hours.
He doesn't do this with feeds during the day, he's a regular 3hour feed in the daytime.

Is this a normal thing?

Totally normal. The welcome side effect of cluster feeding is that they will often start to sleep for longer once they start it. Hebe was sleeping through from 11.30pm till 6am from just under 3 weeks so Alex might be gearing up for that fingers crossed

Good to know, poor guy was getting worked up two nights in a row as I couldn't figure out he wanted feeding again so soon

I see you

It's completely normal, he could have hit a growth spurt, even though Hannah's bottle fed she went through periods of taking bottles every hour-2 hours!
