feeling down whilst breastfeeding?

Hi
Im generally very happy but when I breastfeed I feel down, nothing major just a slight feeling.
I wondered if it was anything to do with hormones being released.
Im just curious to see if any of you girls have experienced this too?

Well BFing does trigger hormones that can make you feel tired and sleepy. Do you think that maybe you just feel down when you are sitting with time to think and BFing is when you have that down time IYKWIM? x

Do you have a sling? You dont have to sit at home bored all the time if you bf... You can sling her up and go for a walk, or shopping etc?

bf'ing definitely makes me feel sleepy hun, can see how it might make you feel 'down'. Agree with Ryder, getting out and about is the best way to deal with any low moments.
