I don't get it. According to this chart she is not even on the chart, she's 6.4kg (14 pounds +) at three months. Does it mean she is overweight?? I am so confused, she keeps screaming for food and sits on me every hour and our doctor suggested I have to top her off with formula but she's off the charts as is?

6.4 puts her somewhere around 75-80th percentile on the chart. Are you sure you looked at 3 months and not 3 weeks?

50th is great. It's means out of 100 babies half are bigger than yours and half are smaller.

Oh thank you so he is just in the middle which is fine with me. I dont know what the hv was on about him being terribly underweight and me having to bring him back to be weight and all in a few months. she always said she didn't have the charts for me so ignore what he is in on the formula one but that jeans since he has been born i have been confused.

thanx for these! my eldest was a chub he always followed the 75th centile(up until about 8 months then slowed down) he didnt even lose weight in the first few days just gained! my youngest is a different story, he followed the 75th until about 15 weeks and then started dropping, until he recentley settled between the 9th and 25th, according to the bf charts he follows the 50th, so perfect (hmmm, wonder what my eldest son followed on them :0)
