It's good to hear that Hevs!!!! Gracie is on the last percentile according to FF charts (2nd percentile), but growing along it after the initial weight loss after birth. SHe's just a petite little girl.

I was lucky to have a good HV I think, she supported me in continuing to bf despite the dicey low weight issue. She just made the effort to come and see us for twice a week weigh-ins. I hear some HV's panic and advise supplementing FF too quickly!! WHich is fine of course, if there is a genuine danger of failing the thrive.....

Thank you so much for those! I will definatly refer to the with little bump. My local HV is a complete pain, when Victoria was first born and started loosing weight she immediatly told me to 'give her a bottle'. She was none to happy when I refused, this carried on for a few weeks before she refered us to a peadiatrician (?). The pead was amazing, helped me find the reason for her weight loss, encouraged me to carry on BF and showed me her weight on an upto date chart. Although my sweetie had lost weight, it was not anywhere as near as the red book had shown. Lets hope all the charts are updated soon, as it really can worry new mummys
