can I mix breastmilk and formula?


I'm now giving Erin formula, but still producing milk so I'm expressing it. Can I make a bottle up of formula then mix it together with what I've pumped off? Is this ok to do?

I'm sure some people were told to do this on the ward my LO was on in the hosp. if you're giving a 5oz feed and have 2oz bm and 3oz formula they would put it in the same bottle I think?? Hope you find out
