the best thing for nappy rash is a salt bath. i make a shallow bath with LOADS of salt and let Harley sit in it playing for ages. it dont hurt!
then i just shower his off. and by the time i lift him out the bath its nearly gone, Harley used to get big blisters too

Metanium is fab too

Amelia's rash has cleared up with the help of the cream I mentioned... if your little ones rash doesnt clear up soon I honestly would consider using the cream I said. Its not nice to think of it as a fungal infection I know - much rather say 'nappy rash' but hun, honestly... its common I hear and even if you give the cream a try as your last resort... it may clear it up.. Its worth a try. It worked for Amelia anyway and her rash was just like you describe. It costs about £3.00. good luck xx
