I'm Currently Feeling:  |  RESP's--Canadian Moms
Well if we ever get Hannah's birth certificate we want to start an RESP so that she doesn't have to deal with the loan debt that Stan and I both have. So my question is did you go through a bank or a separate company like Canadian Education Funds Incorporated ( http://cefi.ca/en/index2.html) and why did you go that way? (I'm afraid I'm not originally from Canada and a lot of this stuff confuses me  ) |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | I'm not much help as I've never actually done one.
However, another suggestion is do you have RRSP's? If so, you can also use that for her education. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | We do have an RRSP, though there's not much in it right now
Apparently if you have an RESP the government will actually put money in it yearly (the amount varies depending on how much is in it if I heard the banker correctly). |
