I'm Currently Feeling:  | Poor Sick Charlotte
She has her first cold and she's only 8 weeks old (almost). She's got some chest congestion and her left eye is red (not the actual eye, just around the eye..the lid and such) and watery and green/yellow goop is coming out of it all the time. She doesn't have a temperature though. The pediatrician said to give her .8 of infant tylenol every 4 hours and to wipe her eye with a cotton ball soaked in baking soda dissolved in water. Her eye doesn't seem QUITE as red, but it still is sore looking and goopy. Anyone know anything else that could help her? |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Valerie had that eye junk when she had a blocked tear duct...even though Charlotte has a cold, she may also have a blocked tear duct. It's nothing huge and usually goes away on it's own but our pediatrician told us to gently rub the inside corner of her eye where the duct is and it will eventually open up and release. It worked for us and she hasn't had problems with it since *knock on wood!* Hope she starts feeling better!! |

I'm Currently Feeling:  | Seth has had a blocked tear duct from birth but developed into conjunctivitis and he needed drops for it. Id have a word with your doc  It cleared up withing 2 days when he had his drops. He also had a cold and a virus. If you put a big bowl of boiling water with some vicks vapour in that helped us
Hope she feels better soon.

I'm Currently Feeling: | Thanks girls! She seems to be feeling a bit better today...not sleeping as much and her eye isn't so red. It's still gunky though. |
