Whole Milk?

When did you start giving your LO whole milk?

I give it to Noah in cereals etc and I know they say 1 year but has anyone used it earlier?

Its one thing that i know most mums abide by rule's, this is because...
It is important to wait until your baby is one year old, as cow's milk doesn't contain sufficient iron to recommend its use before then, although small amounts of cow's milk can be used in cooking from six months. Infant formula milks and follow-on milks contain more iron and vitamins than cow's milk,

12 months for Bethanie. You can use whole milk if you're cooking with it though.

Started with it on cereals and in foods - cheese sauces etc. from 6 months.

12 months to start it as a drink although I've been phasing it in for Charlotte in the last 6 weeks or so. Tom started drinking it at 8 months when I had to give up BF him and he TOTALLY refused formula. I gave him some vitamin drops and upped his oily fish intake to cover the lack of iron in the meantime and the HV checked him regularly. He's been non the worse for it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
