I read somewhere that you're learning baby sign language with double trouble.

Can I ask how you're learning it? Book? DVD? I work 4 days a week so a class would be out of the question but It sounds like a really interesting concept and I'd like to have more of a read and learn it with Thomas.

How are you finding it?

Thanks
Charm x

Hi Charm

I meant to go to a Sing and Sign class but I haven't been able to find one that fits in with us. We're learning from the Sing and Sign DVD. http://www.singandsign.com/shop.php

It's about half an hour and the children seem to enjoy watching though it's a bit cheesy. You learn the signs on there in songs for instance there is a version of "Miss Polly had a dolly" to teach the children the pain sign and how to use it which is quite cute.

I've been using "all gone/finished" for a while and "no" which are starting to work. Charlotte does her own version of finished. I quite like doing the animal signs and we use "more" although they're not working as yet.

I think it'll be further down the line when we see any benefit but it's fun anyway.

Let me know how you get on.

Helen

xx

Thank you so much Helen

Sounds perfect, Thomas loves music and singing and dancing.

I'll get the DVD and see how we get on.
