Rash - Photos!

This is concerning me a little so I thought I'd run it past you girls!

Stu thinks a poss heat rash but I'm not so sure its seems patchy red in places yet dotty red around. At the moment it only leads to around this area you see and fades as it gets lower but nothing past the bottom of the neak!

I am going to get it seen to but I don't want to seem like a mad looney woman in A&E with a heat rash so I'm kind of seeking your thoughts/opinions and go from there if you can x

Have you done the 'tumbler test' wobbles? If you can blanche the rash I wouldnt imagine it being serious..but I'm no dr so do get the little one seen to if you feel necessary.

It kinda does look like a heat rash and it has been very muggy today where I am...or it could be a viral rash as well...

I would say always seek medical advice if you're not sure or are at all worried....oh the little one hasnt started weaning yet? I saw you were maybe thinking of starting Caitlin soon....it could be food related too I suppose but I would say either heat rash or viral rash and if its viral you'd expect to see it on the tummy as well.

hope this has helped abit.

I've done the glass - One min I thought I could see it still next I didn't! Would it fade a little or not at all is what I was thinking!

Seems well in herself in fact last couple of days shes appeared more settled and happy with herself than before! Shes started being sicky again at bottles but we think a poss water change (moved Friday)!

Not started weaning yet - all in planning very soon! MAD woman unpacking

he y you are very much entitled to be a mad woman where little ones are concerned my dr's receptionist knows me before I say who I am

I would imagine a 'septacaemia' rash would not blanche at all...my 9 year old had a non-blanching rash when she was 9 months and the dr's at first thought it was meningitis, it wasnt it was viral. (thankfully)

but hey if you're in any doubt dont worry about who you bother, but if shes in good form, chances are it is nothing

stork bite will def be since birth!

and I think the meningitis rash looks more dark, but only saw pics of it though!

it could either be a heat rash or eczema!

as the weather got warm now and she possibly is still lying a lot on this spot, I think it will either be a heat rash or ezcema!

don't worry about A&E, they understand very well, we are concerned about our LO's!

would check the glass test again though!

To me it looks like a heat rash, it has been pretty warm today and perhaps she has been sweating more than usual?

But the best thing to do is to get it checked out if its raising concern. And if it does turn out to be nothing Im sure they will understand... Its what us mothers are here for... To be over protective

I asked about the meningitis rash once and was told that if bubba is feeding and feeling ok in general then he is fine.
Caitlin was having blotches before wasn't she? I wonder if it's related.
I have seen rashes on the back of the head before though in adults, one of the women I used to care for used to get it regular it never bothered her though.

I hope you find out what it is soon.

Ifyou are worried then AnE will understand
