looks like a birth mark? Anna has one identical to this - so does my sister and my mum... If you're at all worried call a doctor to have a look at it - my GP told me that there's no such thing as a neurotic mother, and if you're at all concerned about anything when it comes to your baby you should always get them checked out because they can be so fragile at this stage and some things need treating as soon as they occur......

Take care, I hope it's nothing to worry too much about.

[edit: seems more like an out-of-hours docto thing than an A&E visit? Call yer GP surgery and the machine should put you through to an advisor for out of hours treatment. Good luck!)

thought i'd pop in......
My sis took her LO to a&e, and it turned out he had a heat rash!!! They were lovely. Better to be extra cautious.

(p.s. I'm always extra cautious due to walking around with meningitis for 2 weeks and thinking I had eczema rash!)

My Aunts back from her trip away today so I'm gonna have her see over it & go from there. Now its a working day I need to find doctors, HV etc Fun of moving. I'm probably just being the typical edgy Mummy.

It isn't a birth mark though I know that x

Ebonii had a similar rash when she was around 3 weeks but it went round the front under her chin and a little on her chest.

OH and me thought it was just heat rash but got HV to look at it and she says its baby eczema and advised us to put Aveeno cream on it and if that didnt work she would prescribe a steroid cream.... but within 2 weeks the rash had gone now after her bath every night i still use it on her face, chest and neck area to keep it clear
