Question

When will you/have you introduced eggs?


My little girl is 7 months and I'm debating when I should introduce eggs...what age have you/will you do it?

I think she was around 1yr when I introduced eggs. She will still only have them as an omelette!

When i was getting Mase weighed on monday i asked my health visitor if he can have eggs (hes nearly 7 months) and she said yeah its perfectly fine as long as well cooked .. So i gave him boiled egg with soilders to dip in! xx

Awww that's cute! Poppy won't eat boiled eggs but she will go for the soldiers tho! Have you got any idea about introducing nuts? I am a bit paranoid about it so I haven't let her have any at all yet.

oh and the advice I got about nuts is no peanuts for first 3 years ? sounds a long time though but better than a peanut allergy.

I gave eggs from 6 months though not runny eggs though. Don't think I'd do that until they were a year old. Omlettes, scrambled eggs and eggy bread that kinda thing.

My daughter had peanut butter from around 14 months. She hasn't had peanuts alone because they are too hard for her.
