Which stair gate?

Bethanie still isn't walking, but she is so near (I think anyway) and crawls/cruises around furniture like mad so it's time we got a gate for the top of the stairs. Just looking at 2 on Littlewoods, but am unsure which to order.

Opinions please

2)http://www.littlewoods.com/rf/naviga...duct=143591039

What do you think?

Thanks

The first one, you're not supposed to have a pressure gate on your stairs as the bar at the bottom is a tripping hazard.

Thanks for the advice all. My boyfriends mum already had a similar one to the 2nd (this one looks a little updated) and it is good, but like Marley said about tripping.. don't know if im better going with the one without the bar.

I will measure first too, thansk.
