guys, if I prepare purees myself and don't freeze them, can I store them in the frigde and for how long?

the baby rice, for how long do I let it soak in liquid before feeding the baby (couldn't see any instruction regarding this on the package!)

Ummm I probably wouldn't keep anything longer than the end of next day in the fridge (this coming from the woman who's currently eating the kids petit filou that's 2 weeks out of date ).

I found with the baby rice that if I mixed it up and then got the bibs out, sat them in their chairs and got the spoon and myself sorted that it was nice 'n mushy.... couple of mins I guess.
