Chicken Pox Help

Poor Alisha has the dreaded chicken pox.
She doesn't seem to be itchy but is complaining of it hurting especially her legs.

I am dosing her up with Calpol& Piriton but it doesn't seem to be working.

Wondering wheter it would be a good idea to try and bath her in Sodium Biicarb, just worried the water will make it hurt more.

Any ideas, its so distressing. I just got her back to bed. She woke up to go toilet and was crying 'cos it hurt so much.

Hi

I haven't got children of my own but work in a nursery. i would recommend you but calamine lotion on her pox as that is supposed to soothe them.
Hope this helps
Lou

hanks girls she seems a bit better today, they're not hurting now, she just says now she wants them to go away.

Bathed her bicarbonate of soda tonite and that seems to have helped.
