Ive just got an appointment through for Lily-Mae's scan! Its on the 19th of december and its an 'Ultrasound Paediatric Renal Scan'. Ive been waiting ages for this appointment so im really pleased and scared at the same time. She has had loads of urine infections since birth so the scan will show any abnormalities on her kidneys.

We're waiting for Stanley's as I have a childhood condition (unilateral small kidnies and reflux) he might have inherited.

Fingers crossed it all goes well, it's amazing what they can do when they catch them so small.

Mine are quite badly damaged and scarred but I had infection after infection and wasn't diagnosed until I was 5.
