Bassinet Help...

.. So I'm not sure but I'm really thinking Rylee is already almost to big for her bassinet. When she was born it looked like it was a never ending tunnel but now I swear its almost to small for her... she has started pushing her self around and getting her face close to the walls.... it scares me and she even has one of those things to keep her from rolling over.... at least it does that but she sure can move that thing around.

When do most babies get moved to the crib? She has like 5" from her feet to the wall and the same with her head to the wall. It she to big for it?

I really dont know what a moses basket is so to help here is a picture of her Bassinet

WOW so I guess maybe she is getting to big for it, thats scary because I don't think shes ready to go to her own room yet.... I guess I will just have to move her crib into our room. I wouldn't feel safe with her back there just yet. I was thinking she would go back there at 6 months or something.

is she used to her cot hun?

i did everything in kacy's room got her dressed changed her nappie, bathed her and even put her in her cot with some teddys round her when i was getting ready so she got used to her cot, she feel asleep in it most of the time when i was getting ready, so when she got to big for her moses basket it was dead easy to put her in her room cos i knew she would be fine in their and she started sleeping through as well

No we haven't put her in the crib yet, we just got the mattress for it the other day, but she has been in her room a lot I take her in there to look around and stuff.... I think she likes it because the walls are red.

I guess thats something I should start doing.

My LO has never slept in a cot really, I co-sleep..... so fortunately I haven't dealt with this dilemma. Although I did have a crib for daytime naps, to use occasionally, but he suffered from sleep apnea due to reflux, and it frightened me to death.

Perhaps you should try putting her in the crib for her daytime naps to get used to it? They do reccommend that I child shouldn't be in their own room till at least 6 Months here, due to SIDs.
