Does anyone now when you can turn the seat from rearward facing to front (it still has recline position when facing front). Its just tyler is lifting his head and shoulders forward of his seat trying to sit up to look around already.

Our citiy's police offer a car seat "inspection" and advice if you go by the station and they told us to wait until the child can stand alone, bend over to pick-up something and then stand straight again. They say this ensures that the abdominal muscles are strong enough to protect the child in case of an accident. Until those muscles can do their job, the seat absorbs the shock when rear-facing.

In Australia for the seat I have it's 16 or 18lbs +

thanks girls he hasnt been weighed for 6 weeks he was 12lb 13oz then think ill wait and see at his next appt. he's a big boy and very strong though and the seat does recline forward facing so its not as if he'll be sitting upright he just gets so frustrated pulling himself forward to look around but i dont wanna turn him to early.
