had Lilly weighed tuesday and she was 3 wks and 4 days and is now 10lbs 1oz, she was 8lbs 1oz born. is she gaining too much weight i dont want her getting fat LOL

Hi, hope your both doing well, i dont think thats too much on the internet it says on average 1-2lb per month for the first 6 month xx

when they weigh her and measure her ect ect................ their will be guidelines that they should be within. the health visitor or doctor or who every weigh's her should show you them and explain what is average below average and above average. if they havent said anything she must be doing just fine. i only no that cause ive been with a friend to get her baby weighed.

10days old 6lb 14oz (5oz loss)
3weeks 7lb 9oz (11oz gain)
5 weeks 8lb 14oz (1lb 5oz gain in 2 weeks )

But she dont look fat so I wouldnt worry

Adams gain has been like this...

Born - 8lbs 9 and a half oz
1 week old - 9lbs 6 and a half oz
3 weeks old - 10lbs 10oz
5 weeks old - 11lbs 9 and a half oz
8 weeks old - 13lbs
10 weeks old - 13lbs.....he was in hospital for a week and a bit so didnt gain weight.

getting him weighed again on monday, he is a little chunk and i love it, i wouldnt worry about big weight gain, as long as shes not on the fat milk lol
