Tam - Where did you hear the tobi was discontinued for safety reasons? I would be interested to know as ny son is in this seat and it is supposed to be one of the best.
The mamas and papas ones arent renound for been the best in safety tests.
I will have to ask my OH hun, he is doing all the research, but up until about 2-3 weeks ago, we was going to try that in our car......apparently one of the things is that kiddies can get their arms out the restraints? When one person complained to the manufacturer they allegedly said "They would not do anything about it based on 1 complaint!
