breastfeeding advice wanted

help

breastfeeding is all fine so far besides little one always falls asleep after 'bout 15 minutes, sleeping 15 minutes and after she wants to go on drinking!

like this I can end up for two and half hours feeding her!

I read you should take off their clothes whilst feeding, but it is winter

does anybody have advice for me, please?

thx, Angie

Wink

I used to tickle their cheek to keep them awake, so they had a good feed. On , off, on , off can be very tiring! Keep going

Hi Mickey

It's hard when they are feeding like this but you've got to remember she's only tiny and will be getting a lot of comfort from the feeding as well. Her stomach is apparently the size of a walnt at the moment and breastmilk is really easily digested so it wont keep her full for long.

the MW told me to strip Olivia to her vest, put a damp cloth on her cheek and brow, and manually compress my boob to squirt some milk in her mouth so that it would encourage her to stark suckling again.

It's hard work at the moment but it will settle down soon.
