Highchairs

So I've started looking for high chairs for our two. What I'd got in mind (before I started looking) was a height adjustable one which I could use at dining table height and also at the height of the breakfast bar in the kitchen. The trouble is, I can't seem to find one that goes high enough.

Does anyone know if one exists?

Ta

Helen

We had a go in those highchairs, that you recommended Imi, while we were away at the weekend, but the children were struggling in them because there is only a 3 point harness and they can't sit up unaided yet. They were slipping all over.

Can anyone recommend another highchair with a 5 point harness?

Lucy those seats look really good for travelling. Do you use one of those at home?

Hi Helen

I don't have one but my Sister does and they have them in Wagamamas restaurants!
My sister loves it because you can put it onto any surface (she also has a breakfast bar) and means the baby is really part of the meal as they're right up there with everyone else. I like the fact they don't take up much room and can stay clamped onto the table with unlike highchairs that are always cluttering up some part of the room!

If the little ones can't sit up unaided yet how about using bumbos for the time being? You can pick them up on ebay quite cheap.

Hi

Just thought I'd update this thread. We went with these in the end:

Thankfully my stools for the breakfast bar have backs on them. Just got them today and only tried them once, but so far so good.
