i have a neice called Ruby (she's 10 now) it was v uncommon when she was born and took family sometime to get used to it - we love it now and it really suits her. I think ruby is like in the top 2 names for girls now along with grace, funny how the old names come back around...

i think its a great choice and if you have her in july (birthstone ruby) it will be perfect!
