I think it's super cute!! Like it a lot! But a bit childish? What about when she's grown up? Maybe with a middle name she could switch to as an adult if she felt like it?

Pixie is cute but reminds me of the candy Pixie Stix or a fairy...

...

It's cute for a child but as an adult? Reminds me of a stripper or Porn Star's name...not that she'll become this but that's just my first impression...

I'm all about unusual names but try to think of long term.

If she becomes a lawyer, how many people are going to want to hire Pixie? Honestly, I wouldn't because I would automatically assume she is flighty and unable to keep her concentration. I'd rather hire Gretchen (just an example) because at least her name sounds like she means business.

Just saying.

Either way chose what makes you happy but try to think about her 25 years from now when she's trying to make something of her life!

That's what I was thinking too!
I agree with this too.
You could use it as a middle name then if she turns out to suit the name physically then you could use it xxxx

I love it, and as someone pointed out the doctor on the tv is Pixie and everyone takes her seriously as an adult!!

Names, even ones that seem child like usually grow with the child, I find anyway.
