Marlee/Marley is cute. What about Marlene and Marley for short?

I LOVE the name Marley, preferably spelled that way. But Marlee is nice too! I think it's a very pretty & feminine name.

I think with an "a" at the end it would be pronounced like "Leah."

It doesn't at all remind my of Miley Cyrus.

However, there was a recent movie in the theaters called "Marley & Me" and Marley was a male dog. I would still use the name though, but i thought i would mention that in case you never heard of the movie!

My daughter is called Maley (pronounced May-lee) and I originally wanted Marley for a girl but so many people kept asking me is it after Bob Marley and being that she is mixed race, it turned me off it. I still love the name though and i prefer it for a girl than for a boy.

I prefer the Marley or Marlie spellings.

It doesnt remind me of Miley either although Maley gets called Marley and Miley
