Taylor - boy or girls name or both?

If I ever have a little girl one of my favourite names is Taylor but lots of people have told me it's more suited to a boy?

What's your thoughts and does anyone have a little Taylor? If so, boy or girl?

This post came at a funny time! I have been thinking about the name Taylor for the past few days. I really like it for a boy... but was worried that it's used more often for girls. I have known several Taylor's... all girls. Plus Taylor Swift is huge right now (female country singer). I was watching a movie the other night and there was a boy named Taylor... and a guy named Taylor won American Idol a few season's ago.

It's definately a unisex name... i prefer it for boys (i like fem/girly names for girls)... but i think it's more commonly used for girls. Ha! Have i confused you even more! lol

I love Taylor, I agree that it is unisex but for me I much prefer it for a girl. My second daughter was going to be Taylor right up until she was born, then I changed my mind as she didnt look like a Taylor . I really like it . xx
