Help...opinions please!

Me and the OH are really struggling to agree on or even think of names! We've looked through so many books and still haven't seen much that really grabs us.

The only girls name we agree on and are fairly set on so far is Madison. He likes Luna which I think is pretty, I just wouldn't want her to get called Lunatic/Loony etc!

So he said he'd like it even as a middle name...but do you think it sounds too much with a two syllable surname? I prefer Madison Rose

Boys names....most of my suggestions have resulted in a big fat no from him....Cameron, Orion, Oscar were amongst my favourites, and he likes Jesse James, Thor and Odin which I can't stand! I like Lucas and he hasn't said no exactly, but I don't like Luke and was thinking people would probably shorten it

We liked Jayden and Kayden but they seem to be getting uber popular round here at the moment

We both quite like Richey James but I've been thinking of whether it sounds too informal for professional purposes etc as we don't like Richard. God this is so hard!

I think Madison Luna sounds lovely

Richie James doesn't sound informal at, well I don't think so

I like Madison Luna... it's more unique than Madison Rose (which is very pretty tho).

How about a different variation: Madelyn Luna

I love Jayden (my son's name) and Kayden (Caiden)... and i love Cameron, too!

I think Jesse James is cute! I don't like Thor, Odin, or Lucas... or Richie (just my opinion)!

I loveee the name Luna. I'm considering it.
Madelyn Luna is a nice suggestion.
I think Lucas is a cool name too. Although I would hate the shortening to Luke also.
Maybe you could choose Luna and Lucas if you like the whole same initial thing.
Oh I'm no help I'm fickle and haven't chosen a name for my own baba yet.

Thanks for the comments...I suppose you're right Jenny and it's not like middle names get used all the time

I think I'm gonna be pretty rigid on Madison but I think Luna could be a contender for the middle name then! We also liked Isis but then Madison Isis sounds a lot like a disease I think!

I'm wondering if the spelling would be a problem now, as people would naturally go to spell it Richie not Richey as everyone has done here! Well I suppose there are weirder ways to spell things
