I've been dithering for ages now on a name for my little girl and I just cant seem to make a decision. Everyone who i speak to likes the names but none just stand out and grab me at "the one".

So do I carry on looking or just decide on one of my choices - I dont want to wait til she is born to decide lol x Her surname will be Evans.

Sharni
I loved this name way before my pregnancy - but someone put me off saying it sounded like sarnie and joked saying how could i name my daughter as a sandwich lol - i still like the name but that thought lingers in my mind incase she gets teased

Amelie
Think this is really pretty - but just something about this name that im not 100% sure on.

Isla
Again, I like it but just not 100% on it

Lexi
Like it its cute BUT my niece is called Alessi / Lessi for short so think its too similar.

Zelie - pronounced Zayley
Like it as its unusual but is it too outlandish. Slightly reminds me of Zulu too lol x

I like Sharnie i dont see the sarnie issue with it really i've never heard of a sarnie lol! I like Isla is it pronounced like "eyela" or iSla?

Lexi is such a cute name... but i think too close to your niece's name!

Sharni is different & pretty! (I don't know what a "sarnie" is, so i don't get the joke! lol)

Isla i'm not too fond of, personally.

And Amelie is nice!

I would definately say to keep looking until you find a name you love... and maybe in the meantime you will come to love one of the names already on your list!

Sharni is gorgeous, as ive previously said and its original, bets are she''ll be the only Sharni in her class at school . I actually asked my daughter (Shani) if she liked her name and she told me she loves it because she's the only one and has NEVER been teased about her name .

I do however also really like Amelie and Isla. I do know what you mean though about not having one that is 100% 'the name', I feel like that with our choices and why im hoping that one will just suit her as soon as shes born. Good luck hun. xx
