Do you like these names?

Feedback?...

Amelie Rose Kessel Beattie aka Amelie Rose K. Beattie

or

Griffin Knowlton Kessel Beattie aka Griffin Knowlton K. Beattie

Knowlton is pronounced nole-tun and is a family name we are using. Kessel is my maiden name and my father died this year and has no male grandkids to carry on his name so I want to ensure it is passed on and to honor him.

My husband and I agree on some names in addition to those above, but not a lot. We agree on Willow and Lydia also for a girl. He also likes Beckett for a boy. I like that but also like Pierce, Arlo and Silas. I don't think he is too keen.

Thanks in advance!

Amelie Rose is absolutely lovely (I was considering it myself). Also, I can very much understand honoring your dad - mine passed away too. If I didn't have a brother to pass on the family name, I'd also would have put it in my child's.

Griffin Knowlton Kessel Beattie sounds a bit mouthful to me, but not too bad.

I keep seeing the name Amelie on here... but i have never actually heard this name before? Is it pronounced like Emily, only with a creative spelling??

Of your name choices i really LOVE Willow... i think that name is so unique, so pretty, and so feminine!

Of your boy names, i like Pierce the best!

Amelie can either be pronounced sort of like Emily "Am-al-ee" or "Uh-may-lee"

Love Amelie Rose, very pretty and classical

Not so sure about Griffin . xx

Love the idea of using your maiden name to honour your dad and carry on the name . xx

I also like Nolan but refuse to do Nolan Knowlton so it might be Nolan Benjamin if it must.

Pronounced Ah-muh-lee... like Emily but with Ahh instead of Eh-ma-lee... hope that makes sense!
