Do you call bump by their name?

Just wondering do you refer to your baby by their name even though they aren't here yet?

I'm asking because OH and I decided on babbas name a while ago now but we're not telling anyone...so OH doesnt want to use babbas name incase he then lets it slip!!

It just feels a little weird him having a name but us not using it LOL!

I call my bump "Loles" as in short for Lola!

I sometimes call him Ollie (naughty, because we haven't actually decided yet - though everyone apart from OH likes that name

) but it seems odd to call him anything just yet until I see him face to face

We call her Maddie usually or Madison if she's kicked hard and hurt me

We only recently think we've decided on a name, so calling him by name will probably be the next step in seeing how we feel about the name and also a bit of a way to bond more. But it's so new, that it feels weird to call him by name at the moment, but I have done it a few times in conversation with my husband.

we don't even know what it's going to be yet but we're already calling it Aurélie,
just between the two of us though, for the rest of the world we'll say "little one"

Yes we have, ive always wanted to have a name by the gender scan so they would be known by that name from then! 4 weeks today until i know if we have a Lydia or Jenson lol

This one is just 'baby' until she comes and we choose her name, but with Evie we had her name chosen before I was even pregnant, after we found out she was a girl i still couldnt use her 'name', it just seemed really strange to call her it

, i dont know why as her name was 100% a definate. xx
