If this baby is a girl i want to name her after her great grandmother Olive Madeline. Most of the family is in awe, while some think it's an "old" name and that the baby will be picked on. Personally i love it and think its adorable! I just don't know what to say to the ones who do not like it...

Don't you just wanna slap people that say stuff about the names! My boy name is Kayden Brave and my cousin thought it was awful. I just said, well I'm glad I'm the one growing it and get to decide. She got the hint. I do love being able to speak my mind now. lol! Good luck! If it gets too bad just don't tell anyone. We had some family do that after people we poking fun of the names they were thinking about.

That's a really pretty name Lovely choice! The name Olivia is also really pretty, but Olive is great because it's not as common. If I remember rightly, Sacha Baron Cohen's little girl is named Olive.

Olive is a lovely name. it was my grandma and great grandma's names. My Grandma was Olive Pearl, love that!

Dont feel that you have to justify your l/o's name to anyone hun, if they dont like it then tough! Its not their child . One of my name choices is Madeleine (after my nan), and May will definately be her middle name (after my other nan) . I love names with sentimental meaning. xx
