Thanks ladies! Feeling reassured now. I guess as long as the initials aren't ASS or something it's ok!

I don't think its a problem, you never really use your initials anyhow. My daughter is NEW and my son is BMW ( that might cost him for car registration!) x

Every time i seriously consider a name i type it and look at it, lol. I practice it in all forms.... first name/middle name, first name/last name, first/middle/last, and initials. I also try to brainstorm any nicknames or ways some mean little kid could find to tease the name. Personally i would not choose a name that has weird initials, makes a word, or is an acronym for anything....... although i'm pretty sure no one ever notices someone elses initials! But i'm anal like that!! Ha!

That being said... "NIP" should be fine, though... it's not "tease-worthy" or anything!
