Babysitting circle

So me and some other twin mummy friends are thinking of setting up a little babysitting circle between us so we get some Mummy and Daddy time of our own.

Anyone in one of these or have any tips for running one? Anyone do it online?

I've heard of it, but never taken part in it.. I don't think it works very well if there's too many people involved

My Mum used to be in one and said it was great, only problem was that over time they all got to be really good friends but couldn't organise the group going out together without their kids because the babysitters were all busy!

The group used to take it turn to host new years eve and the kids all slept upstairs whilst the adults partied (or got shunted to another room as we got older)
